Locate, retrieve, and evaluate information found on the Internet. Design and produce
instructional Web pages using a combination of software and HTML/XHTML/CSS code. Apply appropriate instructional strategies and models to the design of digital curriculum.

Module 1:  Introduction to the Course

  • Writing an intro on ourselves and including a 150×150 picture
  • Discussion in on our introductions

Module 2: Getting Started With Dreamweaver, HTML & XHTML (1.3, 2.3)

  • Write a plain webpage including the projects we will cover throughout the semester

Module 3: Getting Started With CSS in Dreamweaver (1.1, 2.3, 2.4)

  • Within the plain webpage, incorporate style using CSS

Module 4: Typography of the Web (1.1, 1.3, 1.4, 2.3, 2.4)

  • Create page on netiquette, create floating box w/in page

Module 5:  Accessibility on the Web (1.1, 1.3, 1.4, 2.3, 2.4)

  • Create page including internal and external links

Module 6: Copyright and Fair Use (1.1, 1.3, 1.4, 2.3, 2.4, 3.4)

  • Create page discussing fair use on the web
  • Include image bullets and video along with links

Module 7: Images for Webpages (1.1, 1.3, 1.4, 2.3, 2.4)

  • Creating an interactive concept map including hotlinks
  • Math Tutorial and free calculators on the web

Module 8:  Creating Tables for Webpages (1.1, 1.3, 1.4, 2.3, 2.4)

  • Creating a table within a webpage that includes links
  • Jigsaw lesson on solving system of two linear equations

Module 9: Webpages for Mobile Devices (1.1, 1.3, 1.4, 2.3, 2.4)

  • Create activity that can be used on several forms of devices
  • Quadratics Lesson using mobile devices to figure out the quadratic equation of a free throw shot.

Module 10: Working with CSS Templete (1.1, 2.3, 2.4)

  • Create default.html page
  • Personal information page with links to program pages

Module 11: Virtual Field Trip – 2wks (1.1, 1.3, 1.4, 2.3, 2.4)

  • Create virtual field trip lesson
  • Create “Math In Nature”

Module 12: WebQuest – 2wks (1.1, 1.3, 1.4, 2.3, 2.4)

  • Create WebQuest lesson
  • Graphing Standard Linear Equations Webquest
